Goldtröpchen Spätlese (late harvest) Riesling 2019
The Spätlese from the Goldtröpfchen is one of the juiciest and most fruit-driven wines from the winery. The highly complex aromatic potpourri of ripe tropical fruits as well as berry and yellow fruits is perfectly integrated into the multi-layered smoky minerality, which gives the wine enormous depth. Combined with the finesse and ripe acidity, this Riesling becomes an intense taste experience with a long finish.

As the wine matures, its natural sweetness recedes into the background, while fruit and structure merge ever more closely, creating another dimension. This Spätlese is already very accessible young and gives a lot of drinking pleasure, but will only develop its full potential with the factor of time

Nik Weis - St. Urbans Hof
The St. Urbanshof wine estate has its roots in one of the most beautiful sunny locations on the Moselle: an elegant loop of the river follows the course of the sun along the gently sloping vineyards, where the wine estate was built and founded in 1947 by Nicolaus Weis under the name "St. Urbans-Hof" on an enchanting hill. Since 1997, Nik Weis, the third generation, has been running the estate on an area of around 35 hectares, from which he produces refined delicacies, specialising in Riesling.
