Located in the same side valley as the world-famous Scharzhofberg, the steep slopes of the hut form one of the two monopollages of the von Hövel winery. Here, only Riesling wines are grown, which play with a unique minerality and herbaceous notes. The wines get their wonderfully wild side from Devonian slate soils and the influence of strong winds.

Hütte (Oberemmel)
Located in the same side valley as the world-famous Scharzhofberg, the steep slopes of the Hütte form one of the two monopollages of the von Hövel winery. In this one, only Riesling wines are grown, which are unique in their kind. An unmistakable ripe passion fruit often dominates, paired with herbal nuances. The wines get their wonderfully wild side from Devonian slate soils and the influence of strong winds. So it is not surprising that even Napoleon Bonaparte appreciated wines from this site.
