Marienburg Riesling Grand Cru dry 2021
A fresh and precise nose of mango, green apple and some grapefruit on the finish. In the mouth it is velvety, fine with full body and concentrated. It is an elegant and profound Riesling with an incredibly long saline and complex finish.

The "Fahrlay" area covers an area of about one hectare and is located, as the name suggests, directly next to the Pünderich ferry landing stage in a purely southern location. It is the only area in the Pünderich Marienburg where blue slate dominates. The particularly stony subsoil forces the vines to obtain water and nutrients from deeper layers. The wines present themselves extremely concentrated and characterised by a special minerality. The oldest plot in this area is our "Fahrlay Terrace" with vines that are about 100 years old. The grapes here are particularly small-berried and very healthy.
