Marienburg Riesling Selection Gold "GK" 2018

On the nose, the wine shows ripe pineapple, mango and white peach, ripe fig and delicate minerality. In the mouth it is juicy with a fine elegant acidity that gives the wine a nice structure. On the finish, it remains fresh and present.

How to Take Clothing Measurements

  1. Get a flexible measuring tape. These are often sold in craft stores
  2. Neck:
    • Measure around the base of the neck in inches.
    • Round up to the nearest half inch.
  3. Chest:
    • Wrap tape measure under armpits around fullest part of chest (usually right above nipples
  4. Sleeve:
    • Bend your elbow and rest your hand on your hip.
    • Have someone measure from the middle of the back of your neck to your wrist by putting the tape measure over your shoulder, around your elbow and to your wrist.
  5. Waist:
    • Wrap tape measure around where you normally wear your pants. Keep tape measure a little loose by keeping a finger between the tape measure and your waist.
  6. Inseam:
    • Put on a pair of shoes.Have someone measure from your crotch to back of the heel, where you want your pants to end.
  7. Hands:
    • Measure around the hand at the fullest part (exclude thumb). The number of inches shows the size of the glove.
Quantity

The largest part of our vineyard is located in the Pündericher Marienburg site. This vineyard is located on the opposite bank of the river from Pünderich and faces south to south-east. The original area of Pündericher Marienburg, directly below the former Marienburg monastery, is dominated by grey slate. The vineyards were newly planted after a land consolidation around 1988 and have thus already reached a good age. For our Auslese, we only use highly ripe grapes with a botrytis selection, which thus belong to the best wines of our winery.

Clemens Busch

The Clemens Busch wine estate was first mentioned in documents as early as 1802 and is located in the municipality of Pünderich. The family's old manor house is located directly on the banks of the Moselle with a view of the vineyards of the Marienburg site. Since 1986, Clemens and Rita Busch have been running the winery according to strict criteria of organic viticulture.
