Marienburg Riesling Spätlese (late harvest) 2022
Clear, floral nose with bright yellow fruity aromas, some herbs and mineral nuances. Bright, juicy, youthful fruit, yeasty notes, very fine, lively acidity, delicate grip, floral aromas again, a touch of black berry in the background, very mineral, persistent, good depth, still barely developed, very good, firm, juicy finish.

The slopes of the Pündericher Marienburg face south, southwest or southeast, guaranteeing optimal sunshine. The soil is mostly weathered grey slate. The vines are over 30 years old and can withstand dry periods without any problems. For the late harvest, highly ripe grapes are selected, healthy or with a small hint of botrytis. Spontaneously fermented in old Fuder barrels, chilled at an achieved alcohol content of approx. 7.5% vol. and drawn from the yeast.
