In stock
The wine presents a delicate yellow color with green reflections. The fresh, animating nose reveals itself with ripe
citrus fruit and with mineral notes. The palate is joined by aromas of ripe, juicy pears and honeydew melon. The Riesling has a pleasant acidity and charming nature. Here in the Kabinett version with a light 10.0% alcohol.

Those who want to counteract the spiciness with the wine should not only pay attention to lower percentages of alcohol volume, but consider a wine with some residual sweetness. A Riesling Spätlese, for example, goes particularly well with dishes from Asian cuisine.
The Niederberg-Helden
The Lieser Niederberg-Helden site is the second largest single vineyard in the village. The Niederberg is a very steep south-southwest slope with a high percentage of slate. Depending on the stratification in the subsoil, steep slate slopes are either very dry (stratification perpendicular to the direction of the slope) or prone to slipping (stratification in the direction of the slope). The Niederberg, like the vineyards in Graach, is stratified in the direction of the slope and therefore receives a lot of water from the hinterland. Even in the driest summers, the springs here never dry up, so that the vines never suffer from a lack of water, regardless of the current rainfall
Thanisch
In the heart of the Middle Moselle, 3 km next to the world-famous wine town of Bernkastel-Kues, lies the idyllic winegrowing village of Lieser. The family estate is located directly on the Moselle promenade with a magnificent view of the Moselle, surrounded by steep vineyards. The family tradition of the Thanisch winery can be traced back to 1648. In 2001, son Jörg took over the parental business and continues to run it successfully. The 8 hectares of vineyards cover the best steep slopes of the Middle Moselle.
