Bockstein Kabinett Riesling 2023
Like a ballerina, the Bockstein Kabinett captivates with lightness, coupled with plenty of drinking flow and tremendous accessibility. Smoky floral notes of elderberry, lilac and chamomile meet citrus and notes of may herbs and woodruff.

Kabinets are a particular specialty of the Moselle, in the production of which much care and awareness must be invested. In order to preserve the lightness of this style of wine, yields in the vineyard are not reduced too rigorously, while the harvest takes place exactly at the so-called physiological ripeness. This means that the grapes are ripe, but not overripe, and that the acid structure is still present and complex. Kabinets in our house have a moderate alcohol content of 8% by volume on average. Through the aging in stainless steel tanks and traditional 1,000 l oak barrels (Moselfuder), the freshness as well as the spiciness and aroma complexity are emphasized.

Nik Weis - St. Urbans Hof
The St. Urbanshof wine estate has its roots in one of the most beautiful sunny locations on the Moselle: an elegant loop of the river follows the course of the sun along the gently sloping vineyards, where the wine estate was built and founded in 1947 by Nicolaus Weis under the name "St. Urbans-Hof" on an enchanting hill. Since 1997, Nik Weis, the third generation, has been running the estate on an area of around 35 hectares, from which he produces refined delicacies, specialising in Riesling.
