Bruno Riesling dry 2022
Riesling, slate, Moselle - exactly like this and in exactly this order, the nose gives an early indication of what is to come on the palate. Quite classic with cool, bright citrus fruit and lots of spicy slate aromas, delicate yet with emphasis and sensational drinking flow. A fun wine that is equally enjoyable solo and with food and, with less than 11% alcohol, also cuts a very good figure as a lunchtime wine.

The grapes grow in an old parcel of the Karthäuserhofberg on barren and slatey subsoil and south-western exposure.
To preserve all the delicate aromas that the vine produces, we basically harvest all the grapes by hand, press with gentle pressure and do as little as possible in the cellar. But we invest something essential: time. Patience and time always pay off in viticulture, in pressing, fermenting and maturing. With us there is no fining, sedimentation takes place naturally, only sulphur is added.
