How to Take Clothing Measurements

  1. Get a flexible measuring tape. These are often sold in craft stores
  2. Neck:
    • Measure around the base of the neck in inches.
    • Round up to the nearest half inch.
  3. Chest:
    • Wrap tape measure under armpits around fullest part of chest (usually right above nipples
  4. Sleeve:
    • Bend your elbow and rest your hand on your hip.
    • Have someone measure from the middle of the back of your neck to your wrist by putting the tape measure over your shoulder, around your elbow and to your wrist.
  5. Waist:
    • Wrap tape measure around where you normally wear your pants. Keep tape measure a little loose by keeping a finger between the tape measure and your waist.
  6. Inseam:
    • Put on a pair of shoes.Have someone measure from your crotch to back of the heel, where you want your pants to end.
  7. Hands:
    • Measure around the hand at the fullest part (exclude thumb). The number of inches shows the size of the glove.

This powerful Riesling grows in the steep Enkircher Zeppwingert vineyard in pure single-pole cultivation. With much love for the region and nature, everything here is cultivated purely by hand and 100% organically. The vines, which are over 55 years old, produce small, fruit-intensive and concentrated berries. Spontaneous fermentation produces a full-bodied and complex wine with enormous elegance.
Site: The single vineyard Zeppwingert is located on the Starkenburger Hang and is characterised by a very quartzite-rich and ferruginous slate soil. This steeply sloping site with pure southern exposure has particularly old, rootless vineyards with low yields that produce powerful Rieslings with a lot of expression.
Cultivation: single-pole cultivation, no herbicides, 100 % organically farmed.
Vinification: Stainless steel, gravity fed, cold fermentation, spontaneous fermentation, with longer maceration.

Villa Huesgen

At the center is the villa of the Huesgen family, as family residence, company headquarters and symbol of the family tradition. Built according to the designs of the Berlin architect Bruno Möhring, it is still considered a jewel of Art Nouveau today. The villa stands for the foundation of a great wine tradition. A tradition that today is continued, lived and redesigned in a modern way by Adolph Huesgen VIII.
