Herrenberger Kabinett Riesling 2023
Manifold fragrances of dried apricots and juicy lemons combine with spicy herbs. Firm acidity and balanced sweetness join the aromas of peaches and preserved lemons; a whole spectrum of yellow grapefruit shapes, from peel and pulp to candied jelly fruit. Bitterly tart the astringent, delicious finish.

The 2019 vintage reveals the often hidden grace beneath the power of this site's dark slate. Cellar for three to eight years.
The complex nature of this wine will be at its best in pairings carefully matched for texture and mouthfeel, with a pinch of salt. We recommend white asparagus soup with smoked salmon or smoked mackerel with creamed horseradish.

Von Othegraven
Günther Jauch has been the owner of the von Othegraven winery since 2010. Günther Jauch is the grandson of Elsa von Othegraven and it was important to him to continue the tradition of the winery. So he brought the well-known oenologist Andreas Barth on board. Andreas Barth is well known and his quality-oriented approach coincides with the ideas of the "new" owner. Thus, in 2011 and 2012, the old style of the winery returned and seamlessly continues the success of old times.
