Michelskirch Riesling dry 2021
Ripe mirabelle plum and apple aromas with a fine herbal note. Juicy on the palate with fresh, lemony fruit. The nose reveals elegant yellow fruits, supported by a nice acidity and an interesting minerality. Long, invigorating and precise finish.
Vinum Wine Guide 2023
"The Rieslings continued seamlessly at a high level. The dry Spätlese Michelskirch, which was delivered later, alternates delicately between race and maturity. We enjoyed them, the wines of the Regnery family." 90 points Vinum

Where the first Klüsserather church of St. Michael stood 1000 years ago on a small elevation in the brotherhood at the lower edge of the village is a special terroir: very rich in stone and directly exposed to the south. The Michelskirche stood there until the 16th century when the new parish church was built in the centre of the village. The area is still called Michelskirch today. About ¼ of our Riesling wines grow there. Since the 2011 vintage, we have been calling these wines "Michelskirch". It is always a late harvest quality. We make the Michelskirch dry and off-dry.

F.-J. Regnery
The F-J Regnery winery has been in the Regnery family since the 17th century. However, it got its current name after old vintner Franz-Josef Regnery, who in the 1970s converted the business to purely steep-slope cultivation and expanded the winery to include a comfortably furnished vinotheque.
