Röttgen Terrassen Grand Cru Riesling dry 2022
An expansive, very engaging, and even huggable Riesling that will satisfy all Riesling lovers. But despite all the power and concentration this gentleman does not seem in any way noisy or overpowering, as its enormous freshness and density of flavour and bright fruitiness blend into this harmonious and at the same time precise wine. Riesling in a wonderful way.

The conditions in Winninger Röttgen with mineral-rich slate soils, sunny south-facing slopes and old vines are ideal for great Rieslings. The vines root deep into the crevices on the steep terraces. The wines are characterised by lush fruit aromas reminiscent of white peaches and ripe melons. The rocks of the Röttgen originally have a blue-grey colour. The yellow-brown colouring of the surface only develops after a few years through oxidation of the iron and manganese contained in the rock.
