Saarburger "Rausch" Spätlese (late harvest) Riesling 2023 "Josef Heinrich"
This Spätlese is very juicy, complex and feels like it fills the entire mouth.
The balanced acidity and the beautiful fruit sweetness harmonise perfectly and make this Spätlese particularly animating and fresh. For all those who prefer something fruity - a wine with a lot of power on the palate.

The "Josef Heinrich" from the VDP. GROSSEN LAGE is named after the founder of the winery and is a Spätlese in the old classical sense. Not so fruity-sweet but rather "feinherb plus".
The nose is wonderfully fruity and smells of ripe fruit such as red apples, Abate Fetel pear, peach and fine cantaloupe melon.

Dr. Wagner
For 5 generations, the Wagner family has been cultivating the best slate steep slopes of the Saar in painstaking manual labour, as in the days of the founders. Steep slopes, old Riesling vines in traditional single-pole training, manual work in the vineyard, gentle, selective, manual harvesting, maturation in traditional wooden barrels - the Fuder - at 100% - the quality of the wines proves that they are right.
