Scharzhofberger Riesling Grosses Gewächs (Grand Cru) 2022 dry
Available: September 2023
Taste: elegant, filigree structure paired with irresistible spiciness is crossed by a ripe grapefruit note as well as a hint of blood orange; a deep minerality and a deep saltiness combine in the finish.

The Scharzhofberg is considered one of the most famous and demanding vineyards in the world. Only Riesling grows on its slopes, which gets its uniquely delicate nuances from the balance of heat storage of the weathered slate and the cold winds of the Hunsrück. The wines that come from this site achieve top prices at auctions and it is not for nothing that people speak of the myth of Scharzhofberg. We are proud to call 2.85 hectares in the world's most famous Riesling site our own.
