Aromas of yellow apple, pineapple and apricot are exuded by this white wine, which is noticeable on the nose and in the mouth. Taste experience characterized by an optimal sweetness-acidity game.

The famous vineyard site "Ürziger Würzgarten" is the only site in this wine-growing region that has a volcanic soil in combination with red slate (rhyolite). You can only find this red slate in this part of the Moselle valley.
Another special feature are the extremely old rootless vines. While most European vineyards were destroyed by phylloxera from 1860 onwards, the vines in this region could not be attacked by phylloxera due to their stony subsoil.
Food recommendation: The Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett trocken Joh. Jos. Christoffel Erben goes perfectly with juicy chops or steak, but also with a paella pan with seafood and saffron rice.
