Alte Reben Riesling pS - 2021 dry
The 2021er Alte Reben Riesling Trocken pS, is a bone-dry wine (with less than 2 g/l of residual sugar) made from fruit picked on 45-year-old vines farmed along organic principles (but without any certification). The name refers to pures SchmANKER (a world play on pure delight and Anker). It offers a slightly ripe nose made of mirabelle, citrusy elements, and quite pungent earthy spices (including cardamom, carraway, and laurel).

The wine proves creamy and yet quite focused on the tart and bone-dry palate. It leaves a slightly powerful feel of dark fruits and earthy elements in the subtly creamy and tart finish. 2024-2031
