Bruderschaft Alte Reben Riesling dry 2023
In the glass, this steep-slope wine presents itself with a brilliant golden yellow. The bouquet is dominated by yellow peach and underlined by light passion fruit. On the palate, there are also notes of ripeness, peach and yellow apple. The typical minerality has a pleasantly long aftertaste.

In 1921, these rootless vines were planted by our ancestors. In the early 1990s, we buried the vines to increase the spacing of the rows and to straighten them. The rootless vines root deeper, have smaller berries and thus produce wines that are richer in extract, almost salty, especially in dry years.
The result is a bewitching wine that displays the full aromatic diversity of Riesling, brings a wonderful fullness and dances on the tongue with a lasting finish. In the case of the Alten Reben, this is a dry selection.

F.-J. Regnery
The F-J Regnery winery has been in the Regnery family since the 17th century. However, it got its current name after old vintner Franz-Josef Regnery, who in the 1970s converted the business to purely steep-slope cultivation and expanded the winery to include a comfortably furnished vinotheque.
