Eisbruch Riesling - 2022 dry
The 2022er Eisbruch Riesling Trocken is a tank-fermented dry wine made from 60-80-year-old un-grafted vines on blue slate in the similarly named prime sector in the Enkircher Zeppwingert which was classified in the highest category in the old taxations maps. It proves still slightly backward and marked by its residual scents from its spontaneous fermentation and is a bit shy at revealing its stunning feel of fresh herbs and spices.

The wine is gorgeously playful on the palate and leaves a superbly tart feel packed with fresh orchard fruits and fine herbal elements in the long and juicy rather than bone-dry finish. This beautifully fresh and appealing dry Riesling now only needs some time to reveal its beauty. What a nice success! 2026-2036"
