Ages ago, when a mighty river covered the Saar Valley, the water left behind sand, gravel and stones. The young Saar cut into this ancient riverbed and created the steep gravel slope Feils. This peninsula, situated on the fork of the Saar, is planted with old vines. Deeply rooted, they are perpendicular to the groundwater without hitting any rock. This particularly warm vineyard, whose soil is similar to that of the Médoc, delights with its opulent spice of fresh herbs.
