Franz-Josef Eifel
The wines of Franz-Josef Eifel's Trittenheim estate are virtually inimitable. He guarantees this with his fingerprint on the label and with his fine, elegant Rieslings from the slate slope vineyards of the Trittenheim pharmacy. The vines in the vineyards planted almost exclusively with Riesling are partly 50 to 100 years old and in the "SONNENFELS" there are very small rock terraces with 75 year old vines without roots and with very low yields.
