Vom Schiefer Riesling dry 2022
The vines for this wine come from two different single vineyards: The Trittenheimer Altärchen with weathered clay slate is located on the Trittenheim side of the Mosel and produces Rieslings with aromas of apple blossoms. The Rosengärtchen with loamy clay slate weathered soils is located north of Trittenheim. By combining the individual sites, the Riesling "Vom Schiefer trocken" is a wine with clear slate minerality, light spice and fresh animating acid balance. Fruit aromas of peach and passion fruit end in a salty finish.

The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with natural yeasts in classic wooden barrels. Then the wine is on the lees until April.
