Bockstein Riesling Spätlese (late harvest) fruity 2021
Full notes of ripe red berries ease into a tropical caress of coconut, pineapple and papaya. The complex palate of this Spätlese sets in with the firm bite of lemon zest and then turns to juicy, creamy citrus weight, with grapefruit, lemon and pineapple.

All this lushness is laced into a beautifully firm acid structure; lace and leather, spice and florals with an indulgent honeyed finish. Recommended ageing: at least five years. Goes perfectly with bright, fresh fruit sorbets or the best milk chocolate with sea salt - but also spicy Chinese tofu dishes.

Von Othegraven
Günther Jauch has been the owner of the von Othegraven winery since 2010. Günther Jauch is the grandson of Elsa von Othegraven and it was important to him to continue the tradition of the winery. So he brought the well-known oenologist Andreas Barth on board. Andreas Barth is well known and his quality-oriented approach coincides with the ideas of the "new" owner. Thus, in 2011 and 2012, the old style of the winery returned and seamlessly continues the success of old times.
