Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett fruity 2020
Mild white wine with white fruit aromas is characterized in the mouth by a balanced acidity-sweetness ratio. Old vines grown on red slate give the wine special minerality.

The famous vineyard site "Ürziger Würzgarten" is the only site in this wine-growing region that has a volcanic soil in combination with red slate (rhyolite). You can only find this red slate in this part of the Moselle valley.
Another special feature are the extremely old rootless vines. While most European vineyards were destroyed by phylloxera from 1860 onwards, the vines in this region could not be attacked by phylloxera due to their stony subsoil.
Food recommendation:The Ürzig Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett rest-sweet Joh. Jos. Christoffel Erben goes almost perfectly with spicy dishes such as Asian dishes, salsa or pesto.
