Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Grosses Gewächs (Grand Cru) Riesling dry 2020
Peach, apricot, apple as well as citrus fruits and herbs are typical for the aromas of the young Rieslings from the Zeltinger Schiefersteillagen. In the full-fruited and noble sweet wines, you will also find quince, tropical fruits, and hints of honey and raisins; often underlaid with a touch of salty minerality.

The 21.5-hectare single vineyard "Zeltinger Sonnenuhr" borders directly on the site of the same name in the municipality of Wehlen. The vineyards face southwest and slope down to the Moselle with an inclination of 65 to 70 percent. The Moselle serves as a light amplifier here, so that the sun can have a high intensity in the SONNENUHR. Pristine and terroir-influenced, they have a high ageing potential. They present themselves with an abundance of fine aromas, depth of flavour and complexity with simultaneous clarity and minerality; at the same time, they are delicately lissom and have a tangy liveliness without a high alcohol content.
